Star colt Broadsiding has drawn perfectly as he prepares to chase a second Group 1 win in the $1 million JJ Atkins (1600m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Racing Queensland announce the field for Australia’s last Group 1 race of the season for two-year-olds on Tuesday.
They declared a field of 14 runners made up by eight colts, three geldings and three fillies’.
Broadsiding, the winner of the Champagne Stakes back in April is attempting to become Australia’s only multiple Group 1-winning juvenile of the 2023/24 season.
He is sure to start a hot odds-on favourite after drawing barrier two for the rich feature.
Other notable JJ Atkins acceptors include, Sires’ runner-up Zouna, Champagne Classic winner Bittercreek, last Saturday’s Phoenix winner Imperialist and Stakes placed fillies El Morzillo and Aemelius.
