Fans have declared a new trailer for The Voice Australia to be “the best promo for a reality show” that they’ve ever seen. Channel Seven unveiled the teaser during Sunday night’s premiere of Dream Home, giving viewers their first official look at the new line-up of coaches sitting in the famous red chairs.

The cinematic promo begins with longtime coach Guy Sebastian giving a call to country superstar LeAnn Rimes, who is shown wearing a ball gown as she rides a horse in the countryside at sunset.

The Voice coaches Kate Miller-Heidke, Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes in the new teaser.

“LeAnn, I don’t have long,” Guy says, giving his best Liam Neeson impression. “I’m putting together a team, but not just any team.”

“Say no more, I’m there,” LeAnn replies before she rides off-screen and suddenly appears in the red chair next to Guy.

LeAnn then calls Kate Miller-Heidke, who is in the middle of singing her hit song ‘The Last Day On Earth’ at the Sydney Opera House but decides to ditch the performance to appear on The Voice.

For the final coaching spot, Guy suggests that Kate contact someone who is considered “music royalty”. Queen frontman Adam Lambert is then shown stepping off a private jet in Hollywood before answering Kate’s call and flying to Australia with a mysterious shining object.

“Okay, that’s everyone,” Guy says.

“And everything,” Adam adds as he places a bejewelled Voice crown on a pedestal in front of him.

After the video was shared on social media, fans quickly took to the comments to praise the “epic” Hollywood-style trailer and said they couldn’t wait to tune in.

“I’ve never watched The Voice AU before but this ad alone might make me. Marketing level expert. It’s giving BUDGET,” one person wrote.

“CAN WE TURN THIS INTO A MOVIE!? The ad alone was EPIC!” another added, followed by a third who said, “What an ad!”.

“Whoever came up with the concept of this ad killed it,” season six champion Judah Kelly wrote, while season eight finalist Jack Vidgen commented, “Camp!”.

“So funny. Of course Ms Rimes wears that amazing gold, sparkling dress whilst horseriding. SHINY! Best TV promotion ad ever!” someone else remarked, with a different user writing, “This is actually a great lineup of legitimate artists”.

The upcoming season of The Voice Australia will mark the sixth consecutive season for Guy Sebastian, which officially makes him the second-longest serving coach behind Delta Goodrem who appeared on eight seasons.

The series will also serve as a reunion for Guy and Adam, who previously worked together as judges on the eighth and final season of The X Factor Australia in 2016.
