If you’re in the city for Gather Round, you can’t go past Rundle Mall as a great place to hit the shops. The mall stretches from King William Street to Pulteney Street, and was once a road but is now a paved boulevard of shopping bliss.

As South Australia’s premier shopping destination, Rundle Mall is home to the biggest and best range of brands, including exclusive flagships H&M, Tiffany & Co. and Sephora, alongside some of the state’s best restaurants and dining destinations. The rich history of the Precinct, along with its proximity to museums and art galleries, has cemented Rundle Mall as a cultural landmark within South Australia. With over 700 retail outlets, 300 services, 3 department stores, 15 arcades and centres and over 5,000 car parking spaces it’s a great place to start your shopping journey. Make sure you also check out Rundle Place as one of the more popular shopping precincts within the mall.

Once you’ve completed your journey through Rundle Mall, keep heading West down Rundle Street. There you’ll find stacks of great boutiques, cafes, restaurants and wine bars also worth checking out.

Love a good bargain? Looking to find some new Winter gear for the family? Or maybe you’re just after something fun for an upcoming costume party. Whatever the reason, op shops are a great destination for those of us who are after some well priced gear, which also benefits some great charities.

Usually though, you head to a single store, which is located in the back end of some suburb, so if you don’t find what you’re after, you shrug your shoulders and head home. Well those days are a thing of the past.

You now have the option (actually you’ve had that option for a while now, but you now know about it) of hitting up a super group of super sized op shops, which are conveniently grouped together on Grange Road, across from the Findon shopping centre.

Featuring huge warehouses of op shopping racks, you can find the RSPCA Op Shop, the Save The Children Op Shop, The Salvation Army, Vinnies & The Australian Red Cross Superstore.

And each of them are enormous.

It’s just like hitting up a mall for second hand clothing and homewares.

You’ll find it at 308 Grange Rd, Kidman Park.

If you’re visiting Adelaide, one of our most popular tourist destinations for shopping (other than Jetty Road Glenelg) is probably the main drag in Hahndorf. It’s jam packed with craft, homewares, tourist trinket shops, Australiana, Alpaca scarves, leatherwares, and fashion retailers, crammed amongst German cafes and throwbacks to the heritage of the region. If you’re after a giant hotdog packed with sauerkraut, it’s also the go to! Have we mentioned it’s STUNNING in Autumn!?

Hahndorf is in the Adelaide Hills, and is located just up the freeway, about 28 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD.
