Eddie Lynam’s Jon Riggens failed to win last season but he did win his maiden here in 2021 and previously hit the frame in a decent Naas handicap on heavy ground off a mark of 86. His first three  starts were poor last season, but finished the year with two close seconds at Navan and Naas when heavy ground was in the going description again.
He now races off a mark of 80 on testing ground again, the same rating as when beaten a half a length at Naas last season.

The Paddy Power Irish Lincoln is the feature race of the day and the draw could be crucial for this on-mile cavalry charge. Those drawn low could have the advantage on this ground and I’ll take two against the field.

Dha Leath gets a box 15 draw and won first-time out last season from a mark of 68 before progressing to win off 84 on his latest start. Gavin Cromwell’s five-year-old relished the ground and stays further than a mile so stamina is not an issue.

No More Porter makes his first start for Aido McGuinness who is mob-handed in the race with eight other runners and the firs reserve. No More Porter was placed in a one-mile Premier Handicap and over 6.5 furlongs at this venue. He’s only 1lb higher then when second to Bold Lad on Champions Weekend and looks a big player from stall 14, with Wayne Lordan booked.
